Fairburn Municipal Court sessions are held 6 times each month at 26 W. Campbellton Street.  Arraignment dates will be the first Wednesday and first Thursday of the month at 2:00 p.m.  Trials will be held on the second and third Wednesday of the month.  The first court of the day will be held at 8:00 A.M. The second court of the day will be held at 2:00 P.M.

Fairburn Municipal Court hours of operation are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.  Citations may be paid Monday through Friday during this time.  We do not take payments after 12 noon on a defendant’s court date.  We accept cash, credit cards, money orders and checks when a defendant makes a personal appearance.  Payment sent through the mail must be paid by money order.  If paying by mail please attach the citation or a photocopy of the citation in order to insure that the payment is posted correctly.  Payments by mail must be received before your court date or you will be required to appear and answer the charge. We will be implementing on-line payments in the very near future.  

Our goal is to ensure that each defendant understands how our court system works.  We are available to answer questions from citizens and help them understand the court process. We do not give legal advice nor can we recommend an attorney.  Please advise us of any special needs that you may have such as interpreters, a physical handicap or the need for indigent defense council.  A Spanish language interpreter is present at each court session.
