Fairburn Municipal Court sessions are held 6 times each month at 26 W. Campbellton Street. Beginning January 1, 2009, arraignment dates will be the first Wednesday and first Thursday of the month at 2:00 P.M. Trials will be held on the second and third Wednesday of the month. The first court of the day will be held at 8:00 A.M. The second court of the day will be held at 2:00 P.M.

Fairburn Municipal Court hours of operation are from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Citations may be paid Monday through Friday during this time. We do not take payments after 4:00 P.M. on a defendant's court date. We accept cash, credit cards, money orders or check when a defendant makes a personal appearance. Payment sent through the mail must be paid by money order. If paying by mail please attach the citation or a photocopy of the citation in order to insure that payment is posted correctly. We will be implementing on-line payments in the very near future.

Our goal is to ensure that each defendant understands how our court system works. We are available to answer questions from citizens and help them understand the court process. We do not give legal advice nor can we recommend an attorney. Please advise us of any special needs you may have such as interpreters, a physical handicap or the need for indigent defense council. A Spanish language interpreter is present at each court session.
