 The Fairburn Planning Department oversees development related issues including but not limited to: Annexation, Zoning, Variances, Development Review Coordination, Census Tracking, Zoning Map Updates, Text Amendments, Comprehensive Land Use Planning, Address assignment, Tax Parcel information. The Planning Department’s function is to promote the orderly growth and development of the City; to create a favorable environment for business activity; to provide a healthy and appealing environment for all its residents; and to encourage the effective use of the City’s human and fiscal resources for the residents of Fairburn.
