Fairburn Business & Economic Investment Forum 2018

Mayor Elizabeth Carr-Hurst and the City of Fairburn, will host the Business & Economic Investment Forum on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Fairburn Educational Campus in the Georgia Military College (GMC) Building.

Mayor Elizabeth Carr-Hurst and the City of Fairburn, will host the Business & Economic Investment Forum on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Fairburn Educational Campus in the Georgia Military College (GMC) Building. This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited; please register at https://bit.ly/2DafnkT. Deadline to register is November 30, 2018.


The Business & Economic Investment Forum 2018 will address the following topics:

  • Accessing Capital
  • Tools for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
  • Bridging Technology and Workforce Development in the 21st Century
  • Revitalizing Suburban Downtowns & Strategic Corridors
  • Making Your Community Camera Ready


Participants include local officials, economic developers, business and industry leaders from Metro Atlanta and State of Georgia.

The Forum’s format consists of discussion panels and dialogues by subject matter experts.


The keynote speaker is Terri L. Denison, Georgia District Manager for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Distinguished moderators, panelists, and speakers include:
