On Monday, May 2, 2022, all City facilities, including City Hall, opened to the public for in-person services. The City will return to in-person Council meetings on Monday, May 9, 2022. All City of Fairburn boards, commissions, committees, and bodies will return to in-person meetings. High touch areas in City buildings will be sanitized frequently during the day to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Hand sanitizer will be available in all high traffic areas.

The City of Fairburn is excited to celebrate Georgia Cities Week, a statewide campaign by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) to bring awareness about local government and spotlight events happening throughout cities.

The City of Fairburn will host an Annual Spring Clean Up this Friday and Saturday, April 22nd & 23rd and a Free Document Shred-It Event on Saturday, April 23rd. Both events offer residents the opportunity to dispose of household waste at no charge.
